London Roof Terraces
Yesterday we published a blog on several of our roof terraces in Brighton. Today we have done the same with several roof terrace projects in London. We have selected a range from the prominent Grade 2 listed Florin Court to a Mews House and finally to a terraced house in Fulham in Danehurst Street
Florin Court Roof Terrace in Westminster, London
Or roof terrace at Florin Court serves all the residents of the Grade 2 listed Florin Court in Charterhouse Square. It took a large flat roof with wonderful views bit fill of service ducts and very underused and created a valuable resource that incorporates, various seating area, yoga platform and herb gardens. It is a great success and a very good planning permission.
Adam and Eve Mews Terrace in Kensington and Chelsea, London
Here we formed a roof terrace in combination with a basement extension and complete re-working of the interior space. As a Mews house where space is often tight the terrace and basement have markedly changed the property. A feature stair links all floor levels and exits onto the roof terrace via a glazed box with one section of glazing sliding over the other. The stairwell is filled with light.
Danehurst Street Roof Terrace in Fulham, London
This roof terrace is interesting as it changes the nature of the flat it serves but also because the property is a quite typical terraced house. As a top floor flat there was no garden space to enjoy which the roof terrace now provides.

We have designed many other roof terraces throughout London over the years and would be happy to chat if you have such a project in mind.
