Working as Architects in Hove Shape Architecture undertake many projects around the Hove Park area.  This project is particularly interesting as it concerns a wide range of changes both to the house, to the landscape and existing garden structures.  As architects we pull all these elements together into one strategic approach that ties all parts together into a considered unified language.  We use 3D computer models extensively to communicate such a process in as clear a way as possible.  The project includes the addition of a swimming pond and its integration with a garden studio that has been expanded.  Dramatic frameless glazed inserts are proposed to the house to open up the interior and provide a far better visual connection with the garden beyond.
