Fulham Basement Extension
Our Fulham basement off Parsons Green is progressing well. The basement is tanked and watertight and the size of the space is now fully evident. The upper level extensions are also formed including the rear roof.
The connections between spaces is becoming clear. The basement steps from the light well up to the garden will be much used. The first floor roof terrace is a valuable space with the study giving onto it.
The importance of transparency and daylight has been a feature of the design process a key element being the glass roof to the side infill extension and here the space is taking shape.
Transformation
Shape Architecture has an enviable reputation for transforming properties. Here a house subdivided into two flats is reformed as a family home once more. Extensions include a basement, side infill and a loft conversion plus a new study room giving onto a roof terrace. The works serve to totally transform this property.
