Fulham Projects on the Drawing Board

Below we give a glimpse of the variety of projects currently on the drawing board in Fulham.  Working as architects in Fulham our portfolio of residential projects is diverse both in size and in type.  As a practice Shape Architecture has been established in the borough for 17 years and our Director Jason Wren has been designing buildings in Fulham for a further 10 years.  Needless to say, we have long established relationships with local Contractors, Engineers the planning department and building control. Plus, an established support network of party wall surveyors, interior designers, lighting designers and much more besides.

Our portfolio of residential projects in Fulham has been based on a mix of basement projects, extensions of all types, roof terraces and pod rooms.

Fulham Basement

Our present range of projects being worked up reflect this spread of work.  In St Maur’s road we are near to starting on site with a full basement extension that also sees two flats reconfigured as a single family home.  This is similar to a number of our basement extensions in Fulham such as at Queensmill Road for example.

Fulham Wrap Around Extension

In parallel we are also working up the technical drawing pack for a wrap around extension to a ground floor flat in Winchendon Road.  The design of a glazed roof to the rear and side floods the interior with natural light as demonstrated by the 3D computer models.

Fulham Side Extension

In Gastein Road we have just submitted a planning application for a side infill extension that will serve to transform the kitchen and dining space.  We are also working up the technical set so when the planning application is approved the project is ready to start on site.

Fulham Roof Terrace

We have also just completed a feasibility study for a roof terrace on New Kings Road.  This document allows our Client to approach the freeholders to begin their discussions as to what would be required by the freeholders if our Client was to pursue a roof terrace project.  We are also beginning early stages of other projects in the borough and attending interviews for other prospective work.
