Shape Architecture continues to design bespoke garden studios throughout London. These structures are tailor made for our clients reflect the particular nature of each site. Here we have been granted planning permission for a garden studio in Fulham and have now started on site with the works. The project is slightly different as there was an existing garden studio but quite dilapidated. We maintained the existing footprint and kept several walls. With a new floor, roof and rooflights we have completely transformed both the space and the quality of construction. This Fulham garden studio is an interesting contrast to our one on the other side of the borough in St Stephens Road where a dilapidated garage was demolished and replaced with a garden room with green sedum roof and also an enclosed glazed link back to the property so the garden studio can be easily accessed in all weathers. Both these projects demonstrate the benefit of having an architect working with you in the design of a garden studio in order to maximize the potential of the site.
