Planning Approval for Terrace in Brighton
Shape Architecture has obtained planning permission for a large terrace to a house in Westdene. Here the site slopes steeply and the ground floor level is significantly higher than the garden. In addition, there are impressive views from the property. The only way to access the garden was to go out of the side of the house and use a series of concrete steps. The solution to this problem and the means by which the potential can be realised is the introduction of a large deck structure with integral stairs allowing easy access and the enjoyment of the views.
