Blenheim Grove

Shape Architecture takes on many projects that do not have a planning aspect.  These are very often the redesign of existing flats where our client is keen to change the layout from a series of small often poorly lit rooms to a more contemporary and open space.  This project in Blenheim Grove in Peckham had exactly this brief.   We worked closely with our client who had some very clear ideas of what he wanted and developed the design in detail with the use of 3D models as a response to the briefing document.  A large kitchen, dining and living space was created alongside which was a bedroom with en-suite.  Throughout we designed bespoke furniture to reflect our client’s requirements of the space and to ensure that the provision of storage space was maximised.   We have carried out such remodelling of apartments in a variety of locations from those in listed buildings to terraced houses or mansion blocks and the result is always a transformation of the space to suit modern living and the specific requirements of our clients.
