Fielding Road

Working as architects in Chiswick, Shape Architecture has gained planning permission for the addition of extensions at ground and loft levels to a property in Fielding Road, Chiswick which is located in the Bedford Park Conservation Area.  We were successful in obtaining planning permission at our first attempt.  Our demonstration of a thorough understanding of the criteria when building in this conservation area, coupled with our wide experience of working in Conservation Areas throughout London contributed to the success of this planning application.We have carried out work at all levels of the property to ensure it fits the requirements of its new owners.  At ground floor we carried out several changes.  These include a side infill extension and the addition of enclosed porch.  Internally we opened up the kitchen on the living dining space.  At first floor we reconfigured the plan to incorporate a stair the to the loft conversion and also improved the family bathroom

At loft level we converted the loft into a further bedroom with en-suite with the addition of a dormer.  A series of rooflights are also added to ensure the interior is flooded with natural light.
