Small House, Hove

Shape Architecture has been asked by our client to look at the design for a small one bed house at a back lands site in Hove, currently occupied by a series of garages.  Our proposal is for a simple elegant single storey building.  The roof will be a green sedum roof, and this will be far better than the present felt roofs of the garages.  The front elevation is the only one where glass can be located and so a large series of glass panels are installed framed by a blue painted steel frame.  The interior will be filled with light and set back form the street, still quite private.
